I have loved dogs since I was two years old, literally. I have one, and she is just the sweetest! They are definitely my favorite of all animals, but here is my top ten list:
1. Dog
2. Cat (SO independent, plus the kittens are so cute! )
3. Polar Bear (I love their fur, and I love the way the females are such great moms)
4. Seal (So playful! )
5. Jaguar (I saw a baby jaguar at the zoo, and now I am hooked! )
6. Elephant (The herds of elephants are so tightly knitted together, it makes my hurt want to burst how they look out for each other. )
7. Hummingbird (We get a ton of these at my house in the summer, and once one actually sat ON MY HAND! It was so cute and tiny! )
8. Lion (Majestic, fierce, proud. )
9. Bunny (Oh my word, these are just so cute! )
10. Lamb (I love their wooly, curly fur, and they are just so amazingly, irresistibly cute! )M+51

I believe dogs are strong animals, not only physically, but mentally. I recently adopted a dog who came from an absolutely horrible past. We were looking into getting her DNA tested to see what breeds she is a mix of, but we are guessing German Shepherd Terrier Mix. Her story is rough, but she's started to turn things around, I must warn whoever reads this, but her past is heartbreaking. She was born on February 3, 2010, and she is currently 6 years old, and her name is Tori. The poor girl started out when she first got adopted as a young adult (supposedly a puppy) and lived outside ONLY, in a pen, with another dog. She was never allowed inside and the only thing in the fenced-in area, was another dog, and a doghouse, with some food/water. Unfortunately, we don't know the whole story, but she was rescued and adopted again. She was adopted by a family in December of 2014, but she got away the very same day they adopted her. Not only are dogs great pets for people who just want to stroke their backs and relax. But also for being active by, going for a walk or playing fetch.

Sure some maybe aggressive, that's mainly because their owner locked them up in a kennel all the time or chain them up on a doghouse or something else

I think most of the time people misjudge cats. They are very smart animals, and independent. A lot of people think you can't train cats, but my cat is trained to sit, lie down, roll over, open doors, play fetch, and much, much more! One nice things about cats, but can also lead to some people disliking cats is the fact that some take a while to warm up to people, the good thing is once they get to know you they can be your best friend.

But actually this is like preying. The wolves howl at the moon to prey. That is not known for sure but I have found that theory about why wolves howling at the moon. They take care of each other and staying tough in the hardest conditions of weather. They all work as a team to survive. It is so sad when the mother has pups she dies. NUMBER 7!? This is the best animal in existence that is real. I can understand monkeys being popular, they are my third favorite. Penguins don't want to fly because flying is for 5-year old Justin Bieber fans. Flying is for ducks, and if you've seen Daffy Duck, you can understand why that is an insult to flying. Penguins can swim, and that is way better than any other bird that flies besides hawks. Blue Jays fly, but their food is on the ground. Penguins swim, and they eat fish. VOTE PENGUINS!M+18

I think horses should be the first. They are beautiful, intelligent, spiritual, and they were a big part of history. I have only been riding horses for almost 2 years and I have fallen in love. I leased a horse for 3 months and it was amazing, a lot of responsibility, but still amazing. Now I am leasing another horse and it is the best thing ever. Also once you love horses most people never stop. I also always feel better when I am around horses.M+1

9?! 9?! Lions deserve to be number 1. By far the most iconic big cat and one of the most iconic animals in the world. Lions are gifted hunters as they can hunt and kill animals such as buffalo which is 3 times their weight. Once I was at the zoo and I saw the 2 lions having sex... I was 6 and my mom said that they were giving piggy-back rides... Scared for life when I found out what it REALLY was.M+8

I love lions. They always stand as a symbol for courage although we have the likes of tigers. They look fierce and their facial hair is amazing to look at. It easily is one of the best animals in the world. They're powerful and strategic at the same time.

Seriously, elephants are amazing! Their trunks are amazing! The elephant's trunk contains over 40,000 muscles, divided into as many as 150,000 individual units! Compare that to the human body, which contains a paltry 639 muscles, and you start to get an idea how intricate the appendage is. Their resourcefulness is also surprising. I mean, using their ears as fans, eating rocks to help digest, and using their trunks to bath themselves in dirt or water; it's incredible! But my favorite thing about them is their love of their young. Their fierce protection and devotion to them, not to mention the babies are adorable. AND, a women is the alpha of the group! The lions, panda, penguin don't belong around humans as much as dogs, cats and elephants do. If dogs, cats made it then elephant should do. Foxes are awesome! They are cute and funny both, and not very dangerous! They have high pitched barks that can be a little weird at first, but cool. Lastly, they have nice deep red fur (unless you are talking about the rare black fox) that is an awesome sight to see.M+12

Foxes have actually sneaked into people's houses and for example kidnapped a baby. The poor, innocent baby dies. If only foxes didn't have to resort to deeds like that. They should be put in wildlife reserves, where they don't have to scrounge for litter to eat. Why do people hate them for killing babies! It is our own fault (mankind's) for not protecting them. They come up to you when you enter the room and stand on they're hind legs like little babies so that you can pick them up. They move to play games and to run around and explore where they live. Why on earth is rabbits number 18? They are by far the gentlest and cutest animals of all time. They also match with my personality as they are quite shy animals and I'm a rather shy person. Rabbits all the way!M+2

I've had rabbits and they were beautiful. I always watched them all day and played with them. All they do is hop from one place to another and munch grass. But sadly both my rabbits died out of an unknown disease.

In ancient times kings were often known as Dragon kings or Serpent kings. Today snakes are still a source of fear for many, but for some they are much more. Boa constrictors do not get big enough to eat a human. The only snakes that could eat a human are reticulated pythons and anacondas. Maybe rock pythons. Also, there's no such thing as a snake "stretching out its stomach" to get ready to eat something. their stomach stretches when they swallow their food, if it's bigger than them. I'd prefer to call them orca's since they aren't technically whales and this name gives them a somewhat bad rep. They are the largest dolphins, very intelligent, and very social. They are also very dangerous and it is now illegal for trainers to get in the water with their orcas for the trainers safety. I don't see why this isn't included under 'Dolphin' tough...M+3
