Temitope entered the plea to manslaughter and a weapons offense in Superior Court in Wilmington, following the murder of her husband at the home in Bear, Delaware.

Temitope, according to court documents, faces four to 50 years in prison when she is sentenced in December, the murder of the then 37-year-old Pharmacist.

The couple had been married for more than 10 years by the time Temitope murdered Adeyinka, an action she said was precipitated on the fact that her husband had been physically abusing her as well as cheating on her with various women, including her own sister and the nanny's daughter.

According to Daily Mail, Temitope was initially charged with first-degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon. However, she and her attorney chose to plead to the lesser charge of manslaughter and weapon possession.

Temitope has been incarcerated in Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution since her arrest last year.

Temitope did not immediately admit to police that she killed her husband, but instead claimed he stabbed himself and also changed her story several times.

She had initially given conflicting accounts of the events leading to the murder of her husband, with the tales including a power outage whereby she discovered her husband's dead body mysteriously in the bedroom and later.

In a separate assertion, she claimed that her husband had slashed his own throat.

In an interview, Temitope’s sister had disclosed that she had begun experimenting with juju and black magic and these revelations were supported by evidence described in police reports detailing a photograph of Adeyinka with an ‘X’ across his face and a cut across his neck.
